Makeup look of the week; Dark Smokey Eye

I thought that I should start doing a weekly makeup post about which look I have been using most often. 

This week I have really been enjoying applying a smooth and dewy layer of foundation( bourjois healthy mix serum in 53 light beige) with my real techniques stippling brush then creating a dark smokey eye using a mabelline 24hr colour tattoo in on and on bronze and a range of colours from the MUA professional palette in Heaven and Earth. 

I have been trying to work with smaller brushes in the contour of the eye to give it more definition then using a light cream to work into the tearduct area to make the makeup less dramatic and more wearable.

Where have I been...?

Well what a long time and no see,

Around this time last year I decided that taking a break from my blog was the best decision for me. After much deliberation, I've decided that my heart lies with blogging and making videos for my Youtube channel so I'm planning to give a more dedicated approach to these two things in the future! If there are any blog posts and video request which you would me to do feel free to leave them below!

Proud to be British- London Olympics 2012

Rule Britannia, Britannia all the way!!!

Woo!! I am loving the London Olympics 2012, with many amazing Olympians representing Team GB! Oh how exciting that you can view the events on so many channels (Thanks BBC)! My favourite events so far has been the swimming and syncro diving, but all the events are breathtaking and just amazing! It makes me so proud to be British that we have been preparing for this for years and finally we are celebrating the amazing Olympians and team spirit!

Did we all watch the opening cermony? IT WAS AMAZING!! Dont forget to tune in the BBC1 today at 1.45pm if in the UK to see the rather gorgeous Tom Daley competing in the mens synchronised 10m platform final with his diving partner! Go for Gold Tom!! You can do it! GOODLUCK!

NOTW: Summer Lovin'!

Hey cola bottles,

Recently Ive been loving looking at peoples NOTD (nails of the day) so I decided to do my favourites of the week instead! Obviously I still go to school and am not aloud to wear nail varnish in school hours but I LOVE painting mine and others nails at the weekend! I think you can tell alot about a person just by looking at there nails so I prefer to keep mine in tip top condition! Please do excess the shoes they are gorgeous and need some bloggggg action!!

So to start off with I am loving the whole nude/illuminous nail look so I have the W7 nail polish in 24 which is a perfect dupe for Topshops Parma Violet nail polish! It is perfect with a darker purple accent nail!
I've also been LOVING collection 2000s hot looks polish in Hoola Hoop which is a bright pink which looks amazing with a tan (send some sun my way people)!
Anyone in love with the whole sparkly nail trend going on in the beauty community? I AM!! I found this SPARKLETASTIC nail polish for the small price of about £2.99 from Miss Sporty which is just a sparkle touch polish!! It is also a dupe for Topshops Razzmatazz if any of you are thinking of purchasing that...
Last but not least is a MUA nail polish in shade 18! OMG! I have never found such a pretty nude which can be worn lightly as a topcoat but can be so build able into a nude... I have been loving wearing this to school just for a gloss over the nails!!

SO I hope youve enjoyed my Summer Lovin' NOTW post! I'm off to do some French homework... I promise doing a GCSE in French is not as boring as It soundss!!!!

Todays not really a beauty related post but just a general lifestyle post! Sorry for anyone hoping for a beauty post I promise they will resume as normal starting tommorow:Dxx

Today my likklest brother, Sam turned 7 & it had me thinking about my life! I cant believe how fast time flies when your having fun its unreal... Since January when I stared this blog Ive come on a huge journey!

Ive left the country without parents, completed a couple of GCSE courses and even had my auntie announce an unexpected pregnancy! Its had me wondering about the person I am and what my aims in life are. Ive looked through a couple of pics and decided to inset some below of my past and experiences Ive had. I hope they inspire others and put a smile on faces...!!:)
